1940's Enameled Drum Major & Majorette Fur Clips SCARCE! enameled fur clip set, circa 1940's vintage, of a marching parade drum major and majorette. (A parade horse in the same grouping can be purchased separately.) Enameling over base metal includes red and blue uniforms, black boots, pale skin tones. They carry batons and have clear rhinestone accents. Both are marked Pats Pen. Major measures 2 3/8" height; majorette is 2 1/2". Very good condition apart from some flecks of enamel loss; clip is in good working order. - $400

Ceramic and Copper African Mask Set
African tribal mask pin and screwback earring set is done in copper and glazed ceramic. Circa 1940's, probably made by Elzac or a similar California Pottery company. Pieces have dangling spiral earrings. Brooch measures 2 1/2" tall; earrings are 7/8". I could only find one flaw -- a tiny chip in the top of one of the earrings. Otherwise excellent condition. - $85

Fantastic figural lucite pin features a seated fortune teller with applejuice crystal ball, carved and reverse-painted turban and striped pantaloons. Facial features are directly painted. He is adorable, with two-part locking metal pinback set into plastic. Measures approximately 2 5/8" tall. In excellent condition with light metal wear (pinstem). - $350

Rare, hard-to-find signed original STARET pin of a hand holding a floral bouquet. Enameled potmetal with faceted large, openbacked glass stones and smaller rhinestone crystals. Measures slightly over 3" across. There is a slight scrape to the enameling on the lady's fingers, but condition otherwise is excellent. The mark is stamped into the metal. - $1250

Enameled 1940's Pin ~ Flower Cart Girl
Unsigned enameled figural pin is beautifully made and features a girl or woman pushing a flower cart. Clear rhinestone accents are set in her skirt, in the flower cart wheel and in the center of the flowers. Silvertone base metal, with riveted construction. Measures just under 2" across. This may be a Coro piece -- it has that look to it. She even has little white polka dots on her dress -- such is the attention to detail. Very nice condition apart from barely perceptible speck of enamel loss on the wheel. - $120

Pearly Face Little Four-Eyes Girl Pin
If you collect the pearly-faced figurals, this little girl with pigtails, blue rhinestone eyeglasses and a sly smirk will warm your heart. Her face is actually a pearlized "moonglow" lucite cabochon, and her tummy is a blue moonglow cab. She is holding a flower with imitation seed pearl. 1 3/4". Condition is excellent. - $20
Ruby Z / Candace Loheed Ceramic Sailor Necklace
Blue and white ceramic necklace by artist Candace Loheed of the former Ruby Z company features five 2 1/2" sailor pendants, accented with white tubular and blue round beads, two blue-and-white-striped tubular beads, Signature bead is located near metal screw-barrel clasp. Condition is good overall, with some (typical) surface crazing to the white areas, and an edge chip to one of the tubular white beads. Approximately 21 1/4" length. - $260
1940's Enameled Flower Cart & Donkey Pin
A superb example of 1940's figural jewelry! Flower cart with driver and donkey in harness, enameled base-metal, set with tiny crystals. The wheels actually turn. Unmarked, but clearly a designer piece such as Coro. 2 3/4" across. Enameling is in excellent condition; there is some tiny crystals missing from the flowers but I had to look very closely to spot this. Mild plating wear on the reverse. - $125
