Parrot Pearls Ceramic Multicolor Parrot Trio Necklace
Big and bold colorful tropical theme necklace features a trio of parrot pendant beads (each measuring about 3 1/4" height), with short red tubular beads, large red and multicolor round beads. Made by Parrot Pearls, a San Francisco Bay area company in business circa 1970s-90s. Measures just over 21" length. Elements are securely strung on nylon filament; signature bead is located near the metal screw-barrel clasp. Condition is good overall with a few paint chips where beads are strung. - $200
Parrot Pearls Ceramic Blue Morning Glories Floral Necklace
1980s ceramic bead necklace by PARROT PEARLS features a floral theme, with floral and leaf pendants. The three central floral pendants each depict a trio of periwinkle blue flowers which I believe are morning glories. Although it's difficult to see from the photo, the clusters are three-dimensional with yellow stamens in the center. Pale green leaves are dimensional, with veining detail on the surface. Tubular and round beads are strung on nylon filament; total length is approximately 18 1/2". Parrot Pearls signature bead is located near metal screw-barrel clasp. (Parrot Pearls was owned and operated by San Francisco Bay Area artist Candace Loheed, who also created ceramic jewelry under the Ruby Z line.)
Condition is very good overall, with some breakage to the yellow stamens inside the flowers, mild fleabite chipping to a couple flower edges, mild fleabite edge chipping to some of the blue tubular beads. - $140

This ceramic necklace by Parrot Pearls is a real statement piece, with large, chunky beads and a single pink rose flanked by mint green leaves. Magnificent and substantial -- a trio of artisan-crafted ceramic red poppy floral pendants are accompanied by with black disc and tubular beads and black with slightly raised white polka dots. Center of poppies are black with white polka dots. Made by PARROT PEARLS in the 1980's/90s. Perfect for Remembrance Day, or simply to celebrate summer. Red poppies measure 2 1/4.
