Very hard-to-find 1960's serigraphy pin is unmarked, but most definitely the work of Lea Stein. A pastiche of flowers in a bold pop art graphic style has a lacy look, and is set in a faux mother-of-pearl frame. The same design pin is featured in Judith Just's Lea Stein Jewelry. Parrot Pearls Pink Calla Lily & Green Leaves Necklace Lavish ceramic bead necklace features large 3" pink calla lily flower pendants, alternating with 2 1/2" ruffled and tapered mint green pendants. A showy piece, great for warm weather ensembles. White round, disc and tubular beads are strung along wire filament, ending in signature bead and metal screw-barrel clasp. This PARROT PEARLS design was produced in the late 1980s or early 1990s by San Francisco area artists Candace Loheed and Bean Finneran. Measures approximately 21" in length. One of the pink flowers has some damage: an edge chip that has been touched up earlier in its life, somewhere along the line, and a smudge to the paint on the reverse of the same flower -- that may be a manufacturer's flaw. Enormous Vintage Hattie Carnegie Purple Silk Flower Brooch
This huge and showy flower pin, circa 1960s, was made in several different colors. This one features soft silk strands in royal purple, with a center painted pink and mint green button. Michelle Obama has been photographed wearing an orange version of this pin on the campaign trail. Though unsigned, this has been attributed to designer Hattie Carnegie and is quite hard to find. Flower measures 4 1/2" diameter; total height is slightly over 6". Gold tone metal stem and pin back with locking mechanism. Excellent condition. - $280
