Beautifully made vintage necklace features three draping strands of crystal and plastic beads, including blue-lavender aurora borealis crystals, baby blue beads cut in an interesting shape, and blue and white "puzzle" beads with fluted discs that fit together. Blue enameled metal caps. tiny milk white and blue crystal spacer beads add a nice detail. Clasp ends are set with clear rhinestones. Metal is silvertone. Unsigned, but of distinct quality. MONET Space Age Mod Red & Gray Lucite Necklace
This is a fabulous space-age look necklace by Monet, so modernist with lucite cylinder and disc beads in smoky gray, wine red, pearlized white in the center (accented by smaller goldtone metal discs), with upper strands of translucent wine-red round beads. Triple-Strand Blue Art Glass & Plastic Bead Necklace
A lovely assortment of glass and plastic beads in this triple-strand choker necklace, what you might call "Granny beads" circa 1950s/60s. Beads are graduated in size, in shapes of oval, round, and irregular "bumpy" rounds. Mottled robin's-egg-blue and white, pale blue with filigree silver end caps, creamy turquoise ... such a nice palette of blues! Ellelle Italy Blue & Gold Fruit Charm Necklace
Pale blue and gold colored dangling charm necklace by Ellelle Creations (Italy) feature plastic fruits, gilt metal leaves and blue Venetian glass leaves, all connected to a series of goldtone rings around twisted and knotted blue fabric cord. Metallic gold thread is stitched throughout the two-tone cord; ends are finished in goldtone metal caps and hook and chain closure. Original tag is still attached. 17 3/4" maximum length (fit can be adjusted smaller if desired). Very good condition apart from a couple spots of tarnish to a metal leaf. - $100

This wonderful early beaded necklace is comprised of the most gorgeous carved plastic or galalith beads with an overdyed pale yellow and light brown color scheme. Beads are graduated in size, ranging from 3/8" to 7/8", and are separated by small light brown round beads. 16 1/4" with metal screw-barrel clasp. Strung on double-width of twisted thread. 1970s Modernist Mocha Marbled & Amber Lucite Pendant Necklace
This fantastic modernist lucite pendant necklace from the 1970's is huge, featuring symmetrical curved inserts of marbled lucite -- one a swirled mocha cream, the other a semi-translucent root beer, with goldtone walls and open backing. A number of jewelry designers created pieces like this, including Lanvin, Pierre Cardin, Trifari, and they are enjoying a renewed popularity. This pendant is hefty and measure over 3" height; goldtone snake chain measures 18 1/2" and has a spring-ring clasp. Unsigned, but may be a designer piece as the quality is excellent. Huge Resin Heart Necklace ~ Black, Red & White
This wonderful necklace is fairly contemporary -- probably French in origin -- and features large resin hearts in black, red, and white, accented with sculptural half-heart shape beads. The color scheme is reminiscent of a deck of cards. Beads are made from a resin or acrylic plastic with the white hearts having a soft pearlized sheen. Hearts and half hearts measure 1 3/4" across and are nice and thick at 5/16". Strung on sturdy wire for a total length of 19 1/2", secured by a metal screw-barrel clasp. Vintage plastic bead necklace captures the Art Deco chrome and galalith look, but the chrome-looking beads are actually plastic, as are the red and white disc beads. Vintage pendant necklace by HOBE features an ivory-colored lucite insert in goldtone metal frame, suspended on heavy goldtone link chain. Peach & Confetti Lucite Bead Necklace Fabulous whimsical necklace is strung with peach and confetti lucite beads. Each laminated bead is made of two demi-shapes of peach, sandwiching a clear disc in which colorful bits of clay or similar substance are suspended to create the confetti look.
