1940s Elzac Bunky the Monkey with Pink Lucite Tail Pin
From the 1940s, when wartime meant innovative jewelry designs from alternative (non-metal) materials like ceramic and lucite. This whimsical ceramic monkey (advertised as Bunky the Monkey) by Elzac has handpainted facial features, a little cap and curly pink lucite tail. 2 1/2" x 2 3/4". Metal c-clasp and plastic pinback is glued onto back. Very good vintage condition, apart from mild surface crazing. - $200
