Unmarked pot metal and enamel brooch, circa early 1940's, features a Hummel girl engrossed in her knitting. One of a series of figural pins based on Hummel art entitled "Knit One Purl One," designed by William Regelmann and produced by Silson as referenced as "The Book Worm" in Warman's Costume Jewelry Figurals by Kathy Flood. 2 1/2" height.
