1960s brooch marked BRANIA is daring and bold, featuring a thick and chunky faceted citrine glass stone mounted in an open-back frame; sculptural tendrils curl over the left-hand side and corner, each topped with a clear rhinestone. This looks like a piece that was designed by Mimi di Niscemi, who created fantastical jewelry for Brania, and other top jewelry makers Scaasi, DeMario, Schiaparelli, and ultimately producing her own line. This brooch measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". Condition is very good with some slight rubbing to goldwash (out of view) and some dulled rhinestones. - $80
