This cute whimsical ceramic bolo slide tie necklace by Shoestrings for the sporty gal depicts a moose head against a white polka-dot on pink background. This was part of Shoestrings' Zooboloos line with various animals. Moose measures 3 3/8" wide, 2 1/4" height, with total cord length of 31". Very good condition apart from some mild surface crazing, which is fairly typical for these ceramic pieces.
Shoestrings was based in the Bay area and produced whimsical ceramic jewelry, probably around 1980s/90s. The look and style is very similar to Ruby Z, Flying Colors and Parrot Pearls lines, though I don't know if there was a connection. - $80
