Superb reverse-painted "goofus glass" pin from the Victorian/Edwardian era depicts an idyllic scene with mountains, evergreen trees, a chalet style house, a water mill and stream. The background is imitation mother-of-pearl with an iridescent sheen. This particular design is very hard-to-find; I've only come across it one other time in my years of buying and selling.
