Fantastic DeMario cobalt blue glass beaded necklace is a mini-work of art, with much more workmanship and elegance than could be captured in photos alone. There is quite a variety of beads in the two strands, including faceted cobalt blues, irregularly shaped and smooth rounds with a mottled lapis appearance, faceted iridescent beads in a steel blue, opaque "moonglow" blue beads, and an iridescent textured purplish-blue art glass beads. Center cluster of gilt leaves, dangling blue glass beads, blue glass rhinestones are wired to a filigree backing. The double strands are finished with a pair of blue rhinestones, then a decorated floral hook (stamped DeMario) and a beaded extension chain. Measures up to 17 1/2" in length.
