Beautiful 3 3/4" brooch, circa 1940's, has a very DeRosa look about it; it is very high quality, superbly made, and appears to be a delphinium or other type of flowering stalk. Ruby red glass stones positively glow. Potmetal setting with goldwash; center flower is made riveted on and is set with clear rhinestones. Clear rhinestones are also in the leaves. Two heavy parts are riveted together in the back. All stones are intact and in good color. Some mild scratching and fading of the goldwash, but overall a magnificent, quality piece. - $145
